Second Display Notebook from Asustek: Do We really Need That?

Digitimes has reported about this notebook from Asustek. This notebook has two displays. One is the traditional monitor inside the case. The second display is on the outer side (upper part) of the case. Here is what Digitimes said about it:

At the ongoing Intel Developer Forum (IDF) in San Francisco, Asustek Computer is showcasing a notebook that comes with a small screen on the cover. The "second display" design for notebooks enables users to operate, such as using the email and MP3 player functions, without unfolding the devices.

Similar to mobile phones with a sub display, notebooks that come with a second display are considered a special design concept for notebooks featuring the Microsoft Windows Vista operating system, according to Taiwan notebook makers.”

Those people who are extremely busy and tech savy will surely enjoy this feature of the Asus notebook. For users like me, it hardly makes any difference. I could not find any information about the price of the product. However, I know that this notebook will get popular as its design and color are beautiful too.
